Abu Kamara has completed his permanent transfer back to Portsmouth, ending a brief stint with Hull City. The 23-year-old winger, who previously spent a successful loan spell at Fratton Park in 2024, confirmed his commitment to the club ahead of the Championship season. "The boss [John Mousinho] called me early in the window just seeing where things were with me," Kamara told BBC Radio Solent. "In my heart, if I was leaving Hull, I already knew I was coming back to Portsmouth." Kamara, who joined Hull after being sold by Norwich in 2024, emphasized the comfort of returning to a club where he had previously thrived. The former Norwich player praised the fans' support, stating it was an environment where he could "thrive". Portsmouth's Championship opener against QPR saw Kamara make over an hour of his debut, playing on the right wing.
