Portsmouth fan Andy Heazelton, 49, has converted his garage into a football shrine for the World Cup. He spent £3,000 on the project, which he had always wanted to do since he was eight years old. Heazelton, a lifelong Portsmouth fan, has been to his first match in 1986 and has never looked back. He'll be watching every England match in his 'Pompey Cave' with his family, including his wife Louise and children Jack and Molly. Covid was the trigger for building it, as Heazelton was frustrated at not being able to get to live matches and had time on his hands during lockdown. He went to his first Portsmouth match in 1986 and has never looked back. There's nothing quite like it. He'll be in his Portsmouth FC fan zone — aka the Pompey Cave — watching every single match nevertheless, probably not breathing if it goes to a penalty shootout. There's nowhere else from which we'd rather watch England play.
