Portsmouth have announced a 13-player exit list as the club prepares for life in the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division. The departures include defender Jazz Younger, who spent eight years with the club. Younger was a key player in Portsmouth's FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division title win in 2023/2024. Forwards Emma Jones and Emily Pitman are two other survivors from that title-winning campaign. The departures also include forwards Sophie Barker, Jesse Woolley, Ella Rutherford, Tia Primmer, and Hannah Coan, who all joined Portsmouth during the club's two-year stint in Barclays WSL2. Youngsters Tia Young, Stevie Kennedy, and Chloe Sheffield have all come through the Portsmouth academy system. Portsmouth have been relegated from Barclays WSL2 after taking just 14 points from their 22 matches this season. The club are now likely to be playing their football in the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division again next season. Portsmouth will continue to operate on a full-time basis as they bid to continue their progression.
