13 Players Leave Ahead of National League

Portsmouth have confirmed that 13 players will be leaving the club as it readies for life in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division. The departures include defender Jazz Younger, who spent eight years with the club and was instrumental in Portsmouth’s 2023/24 title win in the Southern Premier Division. Forwards Emma Jones and Emily Pitman, also survivors from that title-winning campaign, will also exit.

Key Forward Departures

The club’s forward line will see the loss of Sophie Barker, Jesse Woolley, Ella Rutherford, Tia Primmer and Hannah Coan. All five joined Portsmouth during the club’s two-year stint in Barclays WSL2. Their experience will be missed as Portsmouth looks to rebuild.
